Swiss RNA Workshop, Jan 15, 2010
The Swiss RNA Workshop will take place on Friday, January 15, 2010, in Bern.
Organizers: Angela Krämer, Oliver Mühlemann and Daniel Schümperli
The aim of this workshop is to bring together Swiss graduate students, post-docs and principal investigators interested in the diverse aspects of RNA. The workshop is financed by the Swiss Committee of Molecular Biology (SKMB) with funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation. John W.S. Brown (Scottish Crop Research Institute, Dundee, Scotland, UK) and Torben Heick Jensen (Aarhus University, DK) will join us as speakers from outside Switzerland. Further information regarding the workshop can be found on the meeting's web page.
As in previous years, we encourage you to submit abstracts on your work. We will select 10-12 speakers for oral presentations; other abstracts can be presented as posters. Although we encourage group leaders to give young researchers a chance to present their results, group leaders are of course also welcome to speak.
The deadline for registration and abstract submission is November 28. The meeting is free of charge, but we ask you to register for logistic reasons. We have posted an on-line registration form which is accessible either from the meeting web page or directly here.
Anyone wishing to attend (including group leaders) is asked to fill out and submit the form. Those of you submitting an abstract will have to answer additional questions, and after having registered, you will be able to submit your abstract(s) by attachment to an e-mail form.
We look forward to your registrations and abstract submissions.
