UniSR-Open University PhD Programme in Cellular and Molecular Biology

The UniSR in Milan, Italy, seeks to recruit bright, enthusiastic students for up to 10 positions, effective January 2010 (deadline for application September 14th, 2010). The research staff of the San Raffaele Scientific Institute and Vita-Salute University operates at DIBIT, which is part of the largest biomedical science park in Italy.

The multi-disciplinary nature of DIBIT provides a stimulating learning environment, that is both collegial and collaborative, on the leading-edge of modern biological research.

The PhD programme emphasises a broad background in cellular and molecular biology, preparing for research careers in academia or industry. During a three to four year training programme, students participate to academic activities and develop an independent research project.

Qualifications: Applicants with a master degree are eligible to submit the application for the Phd Programme. A good understanding of English is required.
