Participants had the opportunity to send their splicing related mutations and questions to the workshop organisers and these mutations will be discussed. The second day was a symposium that gave an overview of the current knowledge of alternative splicing as it relates to human diseases.

Symposium speakers:

Emanuele Buratti (Trieste, Italy)
Franco Pagani (Trieste, Italy)
Elmar Stickeler (Freiburg, Germany)
